Rivers United assistant coach, Yemi Olarewaju, said the team will take the point garnered in the clash with Power Dynamos in good faith.
The Pride of Rivers held the Kitwe side to a goalless draw at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia, on Saturday.
It was Rivers United’s first point in the competition this season.
Olanrewaju revealed that they wanted maximum points from the game but are contented with the away draw.
“Goalless draw against Power Dynamos in far away Zambia, we desperately wanted the maximum points but was not meant to be,” Olanrewaju reacted after the game.
“We take the point and go back to Nigeria to prepare for next weekend clash.”
