Elsie Okpocha, the ex-wife of veteran comedian Basketmouth, has questioned the essence and necessity of marriage if a husband cannot serve as the primary provider of security and protection for his wife. The entrepreneur questioned the institution on Tuesday while reacting to a Facebook post by one Nelly Agbogu, about a woman who revealed that she doesn't have her husband as her emergency contact because he doesn't pick her calls. Sharing a screenshot of the Facebook post, Elsie noted that women face much more than what the woman revealed. "And sometimes you wonder the essence of marriagewhen this is a tip of the iceberg of what women go through, sad!," she wrote.
