The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the temporary forfeiture of a nightclub linked to popular socialite and entertainer Pretty Mike, following allegations of drug-related activity at the venue.

The property, identified as Proxy Lagos, located on Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, was sealed after operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) conducted a late-night raid.

According to court filings tabled on Monday, NDLEA officers claimed they acted on credible intelligence suggesting that the nightclub was preparing to host a “large-scale drug event.” Over 200 people were reportedly arrested during the midnight operation.

Representing the NDLEA, counsel Buhari Abdulahi told the court the nightclub was being used as an “instrumentality of crime,” urging the court to halt all commercial activities at the property to preserve evidence and prevent interference.

Justice Musa Kakaki, presiding over the matter, granted the agency’s request and ordered the interim forfeiture of Proxy Lagos to the Federal Government pending the conclusion of investigations. The case is expected to return to court in January 2026 for further hearing.

The NDLEA stated that the venue was allegedly used to store nitrous oxide and other smoking substances, and that the property would remain closed until all inquiries are concluded.
