British rap star Dave has unveiled the official tracklist for his third studio album, The Boy Who Played the Harp, set to drop on Friday, October 24, 2025.
The ten-track project, announced on Monday, is already generating major buzz, with fans eager to see how the rapper continues his streak of thought-provoking, genre-blending music.
The announcement of the tracklist came with the striking black-and-white cover art of the album, which shows Dave seated beside a grand harp, a symbolic nod to the projectโs title and tone. The album includes standout collaborations with major artists, including James Blake, Kano, Tems, and rising star Jim Legxacy, alongside seven solo records that promise introspective storytelling and sharp lyricism.
James Blake, a frequent Dave collaborator, appears on two tracks, History and Selfish, while Nigerian songstress Tems lends her vocals to Raindance. UK rap veteran Kano joins on Chapter 16, and Jim Legxacy features on No Weapons. Solo cuts like My 27th Birthday, 175 Months, and the reflective title track The Boy Who Played the Harp round out the project.
Daveโs last solo album, Weโre All Alone in This Together (2021), topped the charts and earned him a BRIT Award, following his Mercury Prize-winning debut, Psychodrama (2019). After the record-breaking success of Sprinter, his 2023 collaboration with Central Cee, fans are looking forward to what could be another defining moment in his career.
