Rap mogul, Sean "Diddy" Combs received a standing ovation from his fellow inmates upon returning to prison after a jury acquitted him on three of his five federal charges On Wednesday, July 2, Combs, 55, was officially acquitted of sx trafficking and racketeering charges that could have led to life in prison had he been convicted. Speaking with the Associated Press this weekend, the rappers lead attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said  Diddy got a hero's welcome back from fellow inmates who viewed the acquittal as a sign of hope. Agnifilo claims the inmates "all said: We never get to see anyone who beats the government" -- but, Diddy landed a win in his case ... and, it seems his fellow inmates revelled in it with him. Combs, 55, remains jailed at a federal lockup in Brooklyn after his conviction on prostitution-related charges, which could put him in prison for several more years. Any sentence will include credit for time already served. The fallen mogul has already served about 10 months in prison since his arrest in September 2024. He tried to get out on bail after the verdict came in while awaiting sentencing, but Judge Arun Subramanian shot down the request, claiming he and his team didn't prove he isn't a danger to the community. The post Diddy received standing ovation from fellow inmates upon returning to prison after verdict appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
