Driver d!es in accident on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway

A driver d!ed in a lone-vehicle accident on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway in Lagos. The fatal crash occurred this morning, May 30, at Charity Bus Stop, inward Iyana Isolo, when a Honda Pilot Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) reportedly lost control and overturned several times before coming to a stop. The driver, who was trapped in the wreckage of the vehicle, d!ed after the scene. Officials of the the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), who were carrying out routine traffic monitoring duties in the area, attended to the scene alongside officers from the Mosafejo Police Division. The responders recovered the deceased from the mangled vehicle. Afterwards, officials of the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit (SEHMU) took the victims remains to a public mortuary in line. The wrecked Honda Pilot SUV was subsequently handed over to officers of the Mosafejo Police Division for further investigation.The post Driver d!es in accident on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
