The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, following his conviction in absentia. According to the EFCC, Mamman was apprehended in Rigasa area of Kaduna State. Confirming this development to newsmen, EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, said the former minister was previously convicted and sentenced in absentia to 75 years imprisonment over corruption related offences.
