Departing Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, warned his squad not to act like the captain of Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes.
The Athletic reports that this happened after City earned a 3-0 derby victory over United in September.
Guardiola was not very keen to highlight what his players had done. Instead, the focus was instead on Fernandes.
Fernandes was furious with his own teammates for their role in Phil Foden’s opening goal, openly berating them as City celebrated.
Guardiola had the clips prepared so he could send a message to his players that while the Portugal midfielder is a fine player, displaying such a negative attitude towards his teammates would not be accepted at City.
The 55-year-old eventually departed the Etihad at the end of a season that saw Fernandes break the assists record.
