EPL: Ex-Chelsea star, Joe Cole gives only reason Man City won’t win title

Former Chelsea star, Joe Cole, has given the only reason Manchester City won’t win the Premier League this season.

Cole spoke following Man City’s FA Cup triumph over Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

He also labelled Pep Guardiola’s side as the best team in Europe on current form.

“The only reason they won’t win the league this year is that they will run out of road. That old saying you don’t get beat, you just run out of time,” Cole said as quoted by Metro UK after Man City defeated Chelsea 1-0 in the DA Cup final.

“They are at the moment, you can’t argue they are the best side in Europe in terms of form. Chelsea were at it today, and they were just fending them off.

“Manchester City are a top side and top sides win trophies.”
