Liverpool continues to back manager Arne Slot, despite Mohamed Salah’s bombshell interview on Saturday.
Salah was left out for the entire duration of the Reds’ 3-3 draw at Leeds United. After the game, the Egyptian told reporters that he believes the Premier League club is “throwing him under the bus.”
His comments have left Salah’s future at Anfield uncertain as he prepares to depart for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Top British journalist Jacobs Ben wrote on X: “Arne Slot retains the backing of Liverpool’s board following Mohamed Salah’s interview on Saturday where he spoke of a broken relationship with the Liverpool boss.
“#LFC will now discuss whether Salah features again before AFCON.”
