Gayle King addresses longtime rumours about relationship with Oprah, says “If we were gay, we would tell you”

Gayle King has addressed decades-old rumours about her relationship with longtime friend Oprah Winfrey, saying the speculation once deeply affected her. Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Gayle said rumours claiming she and Oprah were secretly in a romantic relationship began after her divorce and used to really bother her. According to her, she even urged Oprah to publicly address the speculation because it was affecting her dating life, but Oprah reportedly advised her to ignore it. Gayle, however, made her stance clear, saying, If we were gay, we would tell you, while adding that there is nothing wrong with it but she personally prefers men. The TV personality added that while online speculation once got to her, she has now reached a point where she no longer lets rumours affect her, saying social media can amplify hate and assumptions.  The post Gayle King addresses longtime rumours about relationship with Oprah, says If we were gay, we would tell you appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
