
Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi of Jigawa State has approved the appointment of 82 new aides to strengthen his administration.
The appointments include 16 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 66 Special Assistants (SAs).
According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, the approval was conveyed through the Public Relations Officer in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
The statement explained that the appointments were made to support effective governance across key sectors of the state.
It noted that the selection of the aides was based on merit, competence, and personal integrity.
“It is therefore, hoped that, the appointees would justify the confidence reposed on them and put in their best towards the development of the State,” the Secretary to the State Government said.
While congratulating the newly appointed aides, the SSG urged them to be dedicated and committed in carrying out their duties.
He called on them to work diligently to ensure the successful implementation of the policies and programmes of the present administration.
The statement further confirmed that all the appointments take immediate effect.
