Heavily armed bandits on Saturday handed over the body of late General Rabe who died earlier in their custody.
The bandits after handing over the body in Katsina made their way back into the Matazu forest
He has been buried with familly and friends offering prayers and paying their last respects.
Rabe, a former spokesperson for the army was kidnapped alongside his wife on their way through Katsina. It is still unclear wether his wife has been released or if she remains with the kidnappers.
