A herder has k!lled a newlywed farmer, Dauda Umaru Musa in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The victim was allegedly attacked and k!lled on his farm at Hayin Gada Mayir community. According to security analyst, Zagazola Makama, troops of Sector 7, Sub-Sector 71 of Operation Enduring Peace rescued the elderly father of the suspect from mob action following the k!lling of Musa. Security sources said the troops responded to a distress call at about 6:10 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2026 over an attack on the 57-year-old farmer.  On arrival at the scene, troops discovered the corpse of the victim and immediately moved to prevent further breakdown of law and order. Aggrieved youths in the community attempted to lynch the suspects father, identified as Dahiru Nuhu, before troops intervened and rescued him. The rescued man has since been taken into custody pending the arrest of his son, who is currently at large. Security operatives have intensified efforts to apprehend the suspect and prevent possible reprisal attacks in the area.  The post Herder allegedly k!lls newlywed farmer in Kaduna community appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
