Key amendment in 2026 Electoral Act you need to know

It is compulsory for the Presiding Officer to electronically transmit result from the polling unit into the IREV portal after the results has been entered into FORM EC8A and the EC8A signed and stamped by the Presiding officer and countersigned by the candidates or polling agents where available at the polling unit.
