Former governor of Lagos State, Raji Fashola, has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu mentored him and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu over 20 years ago.
Fashola said Tinubu entrusted them with responsibilities and they have since grown into occupying positions.
He disclosed this during the Omi Eko launch on Saturday.
According to Fashola: “I must thank the governor who along with me about twenty-something years ago were young men being mentored by another governor who is now president today.
“He entrusted us and this is the story of our journey. If course, Lagos has been busy lately on the waters, from the E-one to Omi Eko and who knows what next.
“Kudos to the government led by Sanwo-Olu and the entire team. Let me also say that you could not hand pick better partners, especially the French development agency.”
