LaLiga: Sadiq bags assists in Valencia’s home defeat to Celta Vigo

Umar Sadiq registered an assist as Valencia fell 3-2 to Celta Vigo in their La Liga encounter on Sunday.

Sadiq, who started the game on the bench replaced Hugo Duro in the 63rd minute.

The Nigeria international set up Guido Rodríguez for Valencia’s second goal deep into stoppage time.

The 29-year-old has so far registered one goal, and one assist in 11 league appearances for Valencia.

The striker joined Los Che on permanent transfer from Real Sociedad in January.

He spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at the club.
