Asake, real name Ahmed Ololade, has revealed that his father strongly opposed his choice of music as a career. The singer disclosed this in a recent interview with YouTuber, Korty EO. Asake added that his father's opposition of his career choice caused their relationship to become strained. He said he disobeyed his father and went after his dream regardless. The Sungba crooner said: My dad and I were so close when I was younger.
