Benue State government have dissolved the entire management board of Nigeria National League, NNL, side Lobi Stars.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Kula Tersoo, announced the dissolution of the management team.
According to the statement, Lobi Stars management are directed to hand over all official documents, assets, and responsibilities to the Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Creativity with immediate effect.
The dissolution which takes immediate effect is aimed at repositioning the club for greater efficiency, accountability, and better performance in both the League.
A new management team is expected to be announced before the start of the new NNL season.
The new season is scheduled to begin on Saturday, 8 November.
