Suraj Lawal is in line to make his return for Abia Warriors’ matchday 22 clash against Nasarawa United.
Lawal has returned to full fitness after he was recently sidelined with an injury.
The forward return is a major boost for the Umuahia-based club as they push to close the gap on league leaders Rivers United.
Rivers United will not be involved in league action this weekend following their involvement in the CAF Champions League.
Lawal has netted twice for Imama Amapakabo’s side in this campaign.
Abia Warriors will square up with Nasarawa United at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday (today).
Meanwhile Abia Warriors captain Augustine Njoku has resumed light training after recovering from injury.
