
Barau FC technical adviser, Eugene Agagbe has described his team’s 2-1 win over Plateau United as tough.
Agagbe praised his players for their hard work in getting maximum points in the game.
Plateau United took the lead through Vincent Temitope in the 4th minute, while Henry Ezeonye equalised for Barau FC in the 38th minute
Substitute Stanley Oganbor scored the winning goal for the Maliya Boys in the 86th minutes of the encounter.
“First of all, we thank Almighty God for the victory. Our players did very well and deserved commendation.” Agagbe told the club’s media after the game.
The Maliya Boys moved up to 10th position on the league table with 37 points from 28 matches.
Barau FC will do battle with Kano Pillars in their next league game.
