Kebbi State Police Command has received 13 armoured motor vehicles and additional patrol trucks to strengthen security operations across the state.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Bello Sani, confirmed the development on Monday, saying the vehicles were deployed from the Force Headquarters.
Sani said the new assets would enhance the command’s operational capacity, improve patrol coverage and boost response time to security incidents in both urban and rural areas.
According to him, the vehicles would be deployed to areas identified as security flashpoints.
The vehicles were presented to the state government following their deployment to the command.

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, who received the vehicles, said the state would continue to support the police and other security agencies in addressing criminal activities.
The police command urged residents to cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and credible information to support ongoing operations.
The deployment forms part of ongoing efforts by the Nigeria Police Force to strengthen logistics and improve policing across states facing security challenges.
