Lord Sear, the iconic hip-hop DJ known for his work with Eminem, has d!ed aged 52. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Lord Sear. He was more than a voice on the radio he was a force, a friend, and family to so many of us, the caption of a tribute post on Searss Instagram page reads. Lord Sears legacy in hip hop runs deep. No further details on his cause of death were shared. Lord Sear's real name was Steve Watson, and he was based in New York City. SiriusXM will air a tribute to the longtime DJ today and Friday from 12pm to 4pm ET on Shade 45 (Ch. 45) on car radios and the SiriusXM app.Sear joined SiriusXM radio in the early 2000s, co-hosting The All Out Show with Rude Jude on Eminems Shade 45 channel.
