President Donald Trump of the United States, has confirmed that Keir Starmer, the United Kingdom Prime Minister, will be resigning his position.
This is even as Starmer is yet to announce the news himself.
In a tweet on his Truth social platform on Sunday, Trump said, “Keir Starmer will resign as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
“He failed badly on two very important subjects- IMMIGRATION AND ENERGY (OPEN NORTH SEA OIL!). I wish him well!
President DJT”
Trump’s tweet comes as indications emerged that the UK Prime Minister is reportedly setting out plans for his resignation from office, following intense pressure from within his own party.
