Kanye Wests return to the Los Angeles stage was briefly disrupted when the rapper halted his performance multiple times over lighting issues, drawing both surprise and amusement from fans.West, performing at a packed SoFi Stadium on Wednesday night, was making his first appearance in the city in five years and delivered a set filled with some of his biggest hits. However, the show was interrupted during his 2007 track Good Life when he abruptly stopped mid-performance and instructed production to cut the music, criticising the lighting setup.Addressing the crew directly, West said the disco-style lighting did not suit the smoke-filled stage and called for changes. After restarting the song, he stopped again moments later, describing the lighting as corny.A third attempt was also cut short, with the rapper asking, What is this, an SNL skit? before adding, Stop doing the vibrating, Vegas lights, bro, and noting that the issue had already been raised during rehearsals.On the fourth attempt, the performance continued without further interruption, with fans responding enthusiastically.The concert also featured surprise appearances, including Don Toliver and Wests daughter, North, who performed TALKING and her original track PIERCING ON MY HAND.
