Presidential media aide,  Bayo Onanuga has warned that individuals who use social media to spread panic and disinformation will face consequences.  He gave this warning via his X handle while announcing the arrest of a man accused of triggering a massive security scare in Abuja. The suspect had allegedly raised a false alarm about an impending security breach in the capital city, which sparked widespread fear among citizens and disrupted academic activities in neighboring areas.
