Senators having high blood pressure over over return tickets – Akpabio

Senate President Godswill Akpabio says some senators are already developing high blood pressure over return ticket to the National Assembly.

Akpabio said this on Wednesday at the inauguration of the National Campaign Council for the Ekiti state governorship
election.

He advised those who are hypertensive to try and take care of their health before the final list is released.

“Some senators are having high blood pressure over the yet-to-be-released final list of APC senatorial candidates for the 2027 elections.

“For my people who are having hypertension, try and hold that hypertension, and then ensure that you have carried all the entire National Assembly along.

“And  for the governors, the state assemblies are going to be working with you. You have absolute right to choose anybody you want,” he said.
