Super Eagles retain 26th position in latest FIFA World Rankings

The Super Eagles then lost 2-1 to Portugal in another international friendly in Leiria on Wednesday night. The team also remained third in Africa, sitting behind Morocco and Senegal. Algeria and Egypt round out the top five on the continent.Globally, the top five stayed unchanged, with world champions Argentina holding onto number one ahead of Spain, France, England, and Portugal.
