LSuspected bandits reportedly invaded the Yashikira community in Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State on Sunday night and abducted several residents.
The victims include women and children.
The attackers also set ablaze the Emir’s palace in the attack.
Residents told journalists on Monday Residents the attackers stormed the community on motorcycles and operated for hours without resistance.
They fired gunshots sporadically and forced residents to scamper for safety.
Kwara, one of the states in Nigeria’s North-Central, has come under attacks from bandits in the last few weeks with hundreds of people injured or abducted during the period.
