Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has accused the Federal High Court of trying to convict him at all costs to stop his presidential ambition in next year’s general elections.
Sowore made this allegation on Friday while interacting with newsmen after his trial at the court.
He stated that it is an automatic disqualification from running for any political office in Nigeria when one is convicted.
The African Action Congress, AAC, presidential candidate alleged that no one could get justice in a court where his counsel was ordered by the judge to kneel down.
“They want to convict me at all costs, so that I will be disqualified from contesting the 2027 election. That’s what it’s about.
