Former Arsenal star, Thierry Henry has apologized to Nigerians for a comment credited to him, that he labeled the Nigerian Super Eagles short as ‘bad luck’.

The former French international used the words when Streamer IShowSpeed wore a Nigerian shorts to the broadcast booth during the USA vs. Paraguay match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He however explained his comment in a video released on X.
