Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, says the persistent insecurity challenges around the country are a result of blackmail by antagonists of the government in power
He explained that it was the same way former President Goodluck Jonathan was blackmailed when he was on power, and about to leave.
Fayose who spoke on Monday night on Channels Television’s Politics Today said “the president has shown focus and I want to say to you that when Jonathan was to leave office, the same way he was blackmailed with insecurity is what is happening now.”
According to him, Tinubu had managed the damage done to Nigeria by the administration of late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Fayose disclosed this while noting that Tinubu is not a perfect person but has given his best, so far.
He said: “Tinubu is not a perfect person but he has given his best, things were worse at the exit of Buhari.
“Tinubu handed over the government to himself by taking over from Buhari and as a decent man who will not want to say that he has abandoned the northerners, he took everything to heart and managed the damage done to the country by the last administration”.
