Tinubu will work with me if I defeat him in primary – APC presidential aspirant, Osifo

Stanley Osifo, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, has declared that President Bola Tinubu would support his ambition if he secures the party’s ticket to contest the 2027 election.

Speaking in an interview on Arise TV on Sunday, Osifo said aspirants within the party are “not fighting one another”.

According to him, incumbency does not guarantee that the president will win the primary election.

He said, “One important thing is that we are all members of APC, and we are not fighting one another.

“If I defeat him, he will work with me, and if he wins, I will support and work with him.

“We are one party, and I strongly believe there is mutual understanding among us as APC members”.
