Tonto Dikeh opens up on reconciliation with child’s father after 10 years of conflict

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has spoken candidly about her reconciliation with the father of her child, describing it as the end of more than a decade marked by conflict, emotional pain, and public disputes.

In an emotional and reflective post, the actress said the journey lasted over ten years and was characterised by broken communication, bitterness, and deep personal wounds that played out in the public eye.

According to Tonto, the healing did not come through personal effort, strategy, or confrontation, but through faith, humility, and persistent prayers, which she believes ultimately brought peace.

She explained that what once seemed impossible gradually changed as hearts were softened, pride was set aside, and mutual respect was restored, particularly in consideration of their child.

Tonto expressed appreciation to the father of her child, Dr. Kunle, for choosing peace and yielding to what she described as God’s direction, noting that obedience and understanding were central to the reconciliation.

Using her experience as a message of hope, the actress encouraged others facing prolonged family or relationship conflicts not to give up, stressing that time, patience, and faith can transform even situations that appear beyond repair.

She concluded by describing the reconciliation as “10 years in one day,” calling it a personal testimony and a reminder that, in her words, “God has not abandoned you, and your story is not over.”
