Arsenal have put at least four of their title-winning players for sale as they aim to rejuvenate Mikel Arteta’s squad during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The decision-makers at the Emirates Stadium have shifted their focus to the transfer market following a mixed conclusion to the season.

Arteta successfully led Arsenal to their first Premier League title since 2004, finishing seven points ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Arsenal had aspirations of achieving a remarkable double before their Champions League final against PSG but faced a devastating defeat on penalties.

The Arsenal team was disheartened after the agonising loss in Budapest,, but managed to uplift their spirits with a Premier League trophy parade in north London on Sunday.

With the 2025-26 season concluded, Arsenal will concentrate fully on the summer transfer window, seizing the opportunity to further strengthen Arteta’s squad.

At least four new signings are anticipated to arrive at the Emirates Stadium, as Arteta is eager to add a new striker, left-winger, central midfielder, and right-back to the team.

Several current players are also being rumoured to be leaving Arsenal, with the Daily Mail reporting that Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, and Ben White could all depart.

Martinelli is Arsenal’s longest-serving player, having made 278 appearances for the Gunners since his first-team debut in 2019.

However, the Brazilian primarily served as a backup this season, starting only 11 Premier League matches.

Trossard had a more successful campaign, yet many pundits still believe that a new left-winger should be acquired, with PSG’s Bradley Barcola being a potential target.

England international White only began to play regularly this season after Jurrien Timber’s injury and faced a setback himself that sidelined him for the final weeks of the campaign and this summer’s World Cup.

Meanwhile, Jesus has fallen down the hierarchy at Arsenal due to his ongoing injury problems, and his playing time will likely diminish if the club secures a new striker.

Piero Hincapie, who started the Champions League final, has emerged as a target for Barcelona, but Arsenal will likely rebuff approaches for the defender.

Arsenal signed Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen last summer on an initial loan but have the option to make the deal permanent and are expected to do so.
