Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have arrested several suspected Boko Haram logistics suppliers in Borno State.
.The Media Information Officer of Operation HADIN KAI, Lt. Col. Sani Uba, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Maiduguri.
He said the raid was part of ongoing counter-terrorism operations across the North-East.
He said: “These include the arrest of terrorists and their collaborators, disruption of logistics supply networks, recovery of arms and ammunition, and consolidation of overall security gains in the North East.
“Intelligence-led and surveillance operations conducted across Borno and Yobe states led to the arrest of several suspects linked to terrorist logistics activities.
“Among those arrested was a suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP logistics supplier, Girema Aliko, 40, who was apprehended by troops of Operation HADIN KAI and Forest Guards at Benisheikh Market in Borno State.
” Aliko, who had reportedly been on a security watchlist, was intercepted while attempting to transport 30 litres of Premium Motor Spirit.

“During preliminary interrogation, he confessed to supplying fuel and other logistics to terrorist elements.”
