Donald Trump became the first sitting U.S. president to attend the NBA Finals when the New York Knicks hosted the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 of the championship series at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, June In a post shared on X by Fox News on Tuesday,  Trump, accompanied by his family and cabinet members, appeared on the arenas Jumbotron during the national anthem.  The president stood with his hand over his heart alongside Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, his granddaughter Kai Trump, and Jared Kushner.  Trump, dressed in a dark suit and a red tie, drew boos when he was shown briefly on Madison Square Garden's Jumbotron. He brushed off the reception after the game.  "It was, I think, mostly cheers," he told reporters after the game before boarding Air Force One to return to Washington. "It was loud, and it was very enthusiastic." The Spurs defeated the Knicks 115-111 in a thrilling contest, snapping New Yorks 13-game playoff winning streak and trimming the series lead to 2-1.
