The United States President, Donald Trump, has reportedly recalled the country’ Ambassador to Nigeria, Richard Mills.
A State Department official confirmed to a news platform, Politico, on Monday that several diplomats have been similarly recalled from their posts in 12 other countries.
Also affected are those in Burundi, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Uganda.

The rest are from the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, and the Western Hemisphere.
The official stated that the envoys were appointed during former President Joe Biden’s administration.
Their tenures, according to him, will end in January.
