U-17 WWCQ: Flamingos to face Benin in final round

Nigerias Flamingos will face Benin Republic in the final qualifying round for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Womens World Cup. The Flamingos, led by coach Akeem Busari, demolished Guinea 11-0 on aggregate in the second round of qualifiers. After recording a comfortable 5-0 victory in the first leg, Nigeria sealed qualification with an emphatic 6-0 win over Guinea at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Sunday.Oluwakemi Adegbuyi, who also scored in the first leg in Abidjan, grabbed a brace, opening the scoring in the ninth minute before adding her second in the 32nd minute. Captain, Chidi Harmony also continued her fine form with two goals, scoring in the 21st and 34th minutes.
