WAFCON warmup: Super Falcons beat Senegal over two legs

Joy Omewa and Asisat Oshoala were on target as the Super Eagles of Nigeria thrashed Senegal 3-0 in an international friendly at Ikenne-Remo on Monday.

Head coach Justin Madugu had already defeated the Teranga Lionesses 2-1 in an earlier friendly game.

The teams are preparing for the coming Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) billed to hold in July.

The Super Falcons will be battling Egypt, Malawi and Zambia in the group stages of the coming competition.
