United States President Donald Trump, has reiterated his warning to Iran, stressing that the clock is ticking.
Trump gave the warning in a post on his Truth Social, cautioning the Islamic Republic to move fast with the peace deal.
According to him, there would be nothing left of them, reviving his threats to annihilate the country.
Trump’s warning follows efforts by mediators to end the war, which has so far, not yielded any results.
DAILY POST reports that talks over a deal that would end the conflict, address Iran’s nuclear programme and restore traffic through the Strait of Hormuz have made little progress in recent weeks.
Responding, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmail Baghaei, said Tehran was not intimidated, emphasising that the process of talks and negotiations remained ongoing.
“Our concerns were conveyed to the American side,” he told a news briefing.
