President Donald Trump of the United States has said that America will keep bombing Iran if talks fail.
Trump stated this on Monday while addressing reporters on the ongoing war between the US and Iran.
Recall that the president had earlier said he had directed the Department of Defense to defer all airstrikes targeting Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five-day period.
Trump equally said that he was likely to hold phone talks with Iran today amid the ongoing crisis between the two countries.
However, speaking with reporters on Monday, he said, “It’s very hard for them to get out, I guess. But we’ll at some point, very, very soon, meet.
“We’ll see how that goes, and if it goes well, we’re going to end up with settling this. Otherwise we just keep bombing our little hearts the top person.
“Don’t forget, we’ve wiped out the leadership phase one, phase two, and largely phase three. But we’re dealing with a man who I believe, is the most respected leader.”
