The White House has stated that Iran has only hours left to reach an agreement with the United States, warning that the next step will depend solely on former President Donald Trump.
Speaking to Al Jazeera, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stressed the urgency of the situation, giving Tehran a firm deadline to act.
“The Iranian regime has until 8 pm Eastern Time [00:00 GMT] to meet the moment and make a deal with the United States,” she said.
Leavitt added that the outcome remains uncertain, emphasising that the final decision lies with Trump alone.
“Only the president knows where things stand and what he will do,” she said.
