A Supercomputer has predicted the favourite countries to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

United States, Mexico and Canada will jointly host the competition, marking the first World Cup to feature an expanded 48-team field.

This year’s World Cup will consist of 12 groups of four nations and a record 104 matches.

The tournament will begin on June 11 and end on July 19, where the final will be played at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, US.

According to Opta Supercomputer, Spain has been identified as the leading favourite for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The La Roja was awarded the tournament in 16.1% of the 10,000 pre-tournament simulations by the Supercomputer.

France, England and Argentina follow close behind, all winning the World Cup in more than 10% of the simulations.

Brazil, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Belgium complete the top ten favourites to win the World Cup.

Co-hosts United States, Mexico and Canada are very unlikely to win the World Cup based on the supercomputer simulations.
