Young boy drowns in Jos river

A young boy drowned in a river in Jos, Plateau State.  The incident occurred when the deceased and his younger brother went to swim together. One Gankis Haggai, who confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Monday, May 25, 2026, said the deceased entered the river while the younger brother remained outside waiting for him.  Sensing danger after waiting for a long time for his brother to come up, the minor raised an alarm and sought help from nearby residents. Some residents entered the water and brought the boy out. Sadly, he was confirmed d3ad.   The post Young boy drowns in Jos river appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
