“I’ve never been married” – Former Miss Nigeria Ezinne Akudo clears the air on Emenike rumours

Former Miss Nigeria, Ezinne Akudo, has finally addressed the long-standing rumours linking her to Nigerian footballer Emmanuel Emenike and her response has left many stunned. In a recent interview, the 2013 beauty queen cleared the air once and for all, stating boldly that she has never been married and has never even met the footballer in question. Ive actually never addressed that, she began. But Ive never been married. Reacting to the shock from the interviewer, she continued: No, youre joking. Thats why I said this answer will shock you. The person in question, I have never met in my life. Ive seen him because I attended his wedding his wife was someone I knew. The rumour, which has lingered for years and resurfaces every few years, falsely claimed that Emenike divorced a previous Miss Nigeria before marrying another. Ezinne, however, made it clear that she was never involved in any such situation. Its gone on for like years now The first time the story came out, I thought it was a joke. But then it kept popping up. Every few years. She admitted she initially ignored the speculation, believing it didnt deserve her attention. I never knew that the story would stick the way it did. If you Google it, its there like some confirmed truth.
