ADC coalition against APC won’t succeed — Lawmaker

The lawmaker representing the Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopamuro Federal Constituency in Kogi State, Leke Abejide, has boasted that he is the financier of the opposition coalition, the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Abejide, who made this claim on Thursday during an appearance on Sunrise Daily, a programme on Channels Television, added that the opposition coalition led by former Senate President David Mark would not succeed.

The lawmaker also stated that he could not rule out leaving the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for the All Progressives Congress, APC.

DAILY POST reports that the opposition coalition on Tuesday adopted the ADC as its political party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The coalition also announced former Senate President David Mark as its interim National Chairman and ex-Osun State governor Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary.
