The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Anambra State has suspended all congresses in the state until further notice.
The Chairman and Secretary of ADC in the state, Mr. Patrick Obianyo and Mr. Lawrence Okeke, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday in Awka.
The duo said the decision underscores the party’s commitment to the rule of law, due process, and respect for judicial authority.
They directed all its members and stakeholders to “remain calm, law-abiding, and peaceful throughout this period.”

” New dates for the congresses and conventions will be communicated at the end of the ongoing national consultations and meetings.
“We urge all members and supporters of ADC to continue to uphold peace, unity, and discipline as we navigate this period,” the statement read.
