The United States is sending a high-level delegation to Pakistan for talks related to Iran.

White House spokesperson Leavitt said Vice President JD Vance, along with senior advisers Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, will represent the US in the discussions.

The meeting will take place in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

“The first round of those talks will take place on Saturday morning local time, and we know we look forward to those in-person meetings,” Leavitt told reporters.

The talks are expected to begin with face-to-face discussions as both sides engage on key issues.
