
Enefiok Essien (Esq) has been appointed the 6th Executive Secretary of the Akwa Ibom State Judicial Service Commission, JSC.
A statement issued by the media unit of the Office Chief Judge said Essien’s appointment followed the retirement of the erstwhile Executive Secretary of he Commission, Miss Patience Nneke, from the Service of the Akwa Ibom State Government.
The statement said Essien, until his new appointment, was a Chief Dispute Resolution Officer (DRO) at the Multi-Door Courthouse, Uyo, an arm of the Akwa Ibom State judiciary in charge of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
Speaking on oath, Essien pledged dedication in the discharge of his duties, promising not to allow his personal interest to influence his official conduct and decisions.
Performing the swearing-in, the Chief Judge, Justice Obot charged Essien to be dedicated in his duties, noting that the new position calls for loyalty, diligence and responsibility.
She also urged him to be committed and focused in his new assignment and to always reach out to the appropriate authorities for direction if the need arises.
“I encourage you to be committed and focused in your new assignment. Always reach out to the appropriate authority for direction when such need arises,” the chief judge advised.”
